The purpose of the access point is to provide a one stop service for students relating to administrative requirements. The internal alteration located in an existing foyer completed by the Tasmanian Public Works Departement in the 1920's presented an opportunity to reuse existing granite and off form concrete. The use of existing materials and texture with new finishes allowed the new work to connect into the modernist history of the building.
